<reviewbody>This short movie has some great things to offer.
It use's an already well established formula, Issolated location+Scientific Experiment+Monster+Army, and gives it it's all to bring something that outstrips some large budget hollywood movies.
The actors are well woven into the plot, the monster plays on what it does best without having to give you everything on a silver plater, and the music ready brings everything together.
You will not be disapointed by this offering from some very talented individuals.
Great effects, Great music to set the stage and well acted.

<reviewbody>The film appears to be an early piece of work for those involved and hopefully they can learn a lot from it too. It does have its endearing qualities, however I feel that all aspects of the production could be improved without extending the requirements of the budget. A good well threaded step for a budding film crew.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>You have to try in order to start. It is very clear that no one involved in the making of the film has any knowledge of the military. I should say that I saw nothing that would indicate that anything about this has anything to do with Science Fiction. Every aspect of the film could have been better including most of all, the story!

It is try that before you can understand something, really appreciate it, or get started in it you have to try/ participate in it in some way. Much of the film, editing, and shooting was done very well. Much of these of this aspect of the film show real talent, and skill, as well as the set up for a shoot. It would be nice to see how it was story boarded, and to view at lest some of the footage as it was taken.

The military and Sci-Fi aspects are thing you can just not do without. Many expensive films are worthless, tasteless, and limited to the past because of no understanding of the subject mater, or any physical, real aspect about it. I could go on an on about just this one area, but to keep it short look at the classics. In classics of all forms of art they are timeless because they are as real to people of one generation as to another, also they are not limited to only one people, but have a reality for a broad range of people. As for the Sci-Fi thing, many people do not understand that Sci-Fi, and Fantasy are not one in the same. Fiction is something that could be real, Sci-Fi is something that can be real. Fantasy is just that.

Without a solid story line you have nothing. 2001 although a great movie of its time presented a very limited story to many of the time, and has a more limited audience base as time passes because its only real value is in its look, and production.

Overall not a total waste of time and effort. A good learning tool not only for those that participated, but for others as well. I do not regret having spent the time looking at it, but would not do so again.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Okay, so I am giving this movie 4 stars out of 5. My reasons for 4 stars is many. You have almost a non-budget & the director is still able to create a decent movie. Tension. In order to sustain a good horror or thriller, you need tension! Though the acting is average to below average for a non-budget feature, the director achieves a building tension that succeeds where so many other low budget horrors fail. Music. You need great genre music to achieve setting up both the plot and creation the aforementioned tension and the music in this film is perfect. It reminded me of the theme music from John Carpenter's The Thing and it fits the story very well. Kudos to the director!!!</reviewbody>
